GSM Interface Module - A Home Alarm to Mobile Phone System
 
 

The GSM Interface Module is a small 110mm x 60mm printed circuit board wireless dialler that can fit inside any home security panel or similar piece of equipment that requires monitoring. When in the case of a home security system being activated by an intruder, it will instantly send out an SMS text warning "Alarm Activated" message to the users mobile phone.

  
     
 

It has the option to program in a secondary mobile or landline telephone number to receive the same "Alarm Activated" warning text message when triggered. The module works with any Pay as You Go type Sim card and will cost 2.5 pence when it sends out an alarm text message.

  
     
 

The GSM interface module can be used for almost any application that needs some form of remote alarm monitoring. It can be used to monitor when vending machines are low on stock or when remote access electric gates need opened. Installing the GSM interface module

The Textlink interface wireless dialler module can be installed in a matter of minutes into any standard home security panel or equipment. In a case where the home security system  was installed by a company, contact them for installation of this product or if you are fitting a new security system in your home, ask your installer to quote you including the GSM interface module.

 
Programming the interface module.

Programming the interface module is easy. Once powered, simply text a 4 digit password to the module from the mobile phone you want the alarm message to be received on. When the house alarm is triggered a text warning message will instantly be sent to that mobile phone. By sending another text command to the module you can program in a second landline or mobile number to send the same alarm message to.
 

The Textlink wireless module can be interfaced with almost any type of alarm or similar type of system that has a switched output and is available to purchase with an on-board re-chargeable battery pack.

The GSM Interface Module  is suitable for almost any type of equipment that has a 12v feed. The product can also be used as a GSM tracker for cars, vans, bikes or asset needing tracked. All that is required is for the user to register the Sim card with any of the GSM mobile phone tracking companies in the UK before fitting it into the interface module.
