Vehicle Tracking Features Included with the TXI Textracker |

Adding, editing and selecting vehicles. |
|
There
are no limits to the number of vehicles that can be located
or tracked
and the user has the option to add, edit or delete any of
the vehicle entries.
The Textracker can be moved from one vehicle to another and
the entries can be edited to suit. |

Connecting and uploading information. |
|
Once a vehicle is entered and selected, connecting
from the software to the vehicle only takes a couple
of seconds and all the information from the vehicle
which is stored in the Textracker can then be
uploaded to the users computer and displayed on the
MapPoint maps. |

Every
minute the vehicle is travelling and every hour when it is
stationary the information of the vehicles movements are
stored in the Textrackers memory. The Textracker has
the capacity to hold the latest 6 months of vehicle information
if it is not uploaded to the user computer. |

Displaying the vehicles information. |
|
After connecting and uploading the information from
a vehicle to the PC the Textracker memory is then
erased. The time, location and speed of the
vehicle is loaded into the control panel and the
information of the vehicles route is automatically plotted
onto the street-map. |

Real time "LIVE" tracking. |
|
Live tracking the vehicle will refresh the information
on the map every 5 seconds, this enables the user to
watch their vehicle moving along the road
on the map in "Real Time". |
|

Vehicle live tracking updates. |
|
The user
when live tracking the vehicle has the option to select
vehicle updates refreshing on the map, from every 5, 30 or
60 second. When tracking all of the vehicles at the same
time the updated position of the vehicles refresh on the map every 60 seconds. |

Generating statistic and reports. |
|
Highlighting some of the vehicles information from
the control panel software the user can select and
display all or only the selected
vehicle positions and route they require to view. |

From the over speed option the user can enter a set
speed, for example 60mph and all the positions of
the vehicle travelling at this speed or over
the set limit will be listed and displayed. |

The Idle time option will list the positions of the
vehicle and display on the map where the vehicle has been
sitting idle and the time period the vehicle was stopped at that
position. |

|
|
When live tracking a vehicle over the same or similar route again
the trail of arrows on the map can sometime become confusing.
The clear track option will remove all the arrows from the
map.
|

|
Each location of the vehicles
journey minute by minute with the street address
information that is uploaded from the Textracker
into in the control panel software can be printed if
required. |

|
|
|
A daily summary report which can be printed or saved as a word
document is generated from the vehicle report option. The
start and stop information of the vehicle are reported along
with the total driving hours, average speed and the estimated
mileage. |

Vehicles past history. |
|
From the
drop down calendar menu the user can select any past date and
retrieve any previous uploaded information of the vehicles
journey and history of the selected date. |

Locating and tracking multiple vehicles. |
|
A
selection of vehicles or all of the vehicles from the fleet
that have been entered into the system can be located or tracked
at the same time on the same map. Thus allowing the user to
view all their vehicles at a glance. |

By
double clicking on any of the vehicles highlighted in the
control panel software will automatically zoom into the
street on the map where that vehicle is positioned. |
|

|
Tracking or locating selected or all vehicles will constantly refresh the selected vehicles
most recent position and information on the map. |
|
|
|
|
|
The information boxes shown on the map can be hidden or displayed by ticking the display info
selection box. |

There are no limits to the number of vehicles that can
be tracked at the same time and there are no
confusing trail of arrows shown when doing so |
