Fingerprint Recognition and Tracking System |

Textlink working in partnership with ATRD Ltd in
Coventry have successfully developed and released an innovative
security and tracking system to prevent unauthorised driving of
a vehicle. Only the correct fingerprint recognised by the
biometric dash mounted switch will allow the vehicle to be
driven away. An in-correct fingerprint or any attempt to bypass
the system will instantly send an alarm message to the user. The
products tracking and communication features transmit
information direct to the mapping software installed on the

Virtual Earth Vehicle Tracking |

Textlink
have started work on developing a software package that
their users can purchase and add to the existing
MapPoint or TXI tracking control panel software which
will allow them to view their vehicles travelling along
the road in a 3D satellite view using the Virtual Earth
platform. The user will be able to identify buildings,
streets and watch their vehicle in birds eye and 3D
images driving along the road in Real-Time. The software
package is expected to be available by the end of Aug
2008.

vehicles and upload their data at the same time. The control
panel software 1.36 saves the user from having to connect to
