This is a smart and unique real-time
constant vehicle security, tracking and messaging system that instantly
sends the vehicles time, speed, address and directional information to
the street maps installed on the users computer. This product
has all the tracking features that the
MapPoint Textracker has, with the addition of a dash-board

The system
works by simply installing the Microsoft MapPoint mapping
software and the Textlink software onto a computer or laptop
that has an active internet broadband or dial-up connection. The
user then connects
to the TXI Textracker in the vehicle and starts tracking the
vehicle on
the map. When the user is connected to the vehicle, messages can
be sent to the driver in the cab. |

The user
will be required to register this product with Textlink and pay a fixed
monthly subscription fee of £12.99 for the network

Send a message to the driver. |
|
When the
user at the computer connects to the vehicle and then
uploads the tracking information an option becomes available
to enable them to send a message to the driver. |
|

|
The driver from a selection menu on the LCD screen
can set the TXI unit in a mode to let the user at
the computer in the office know if they are
available, on a break or waiting on their next job.
This information will be displayed in the
information box on the map at the user computer when
they connect to the vehicle. |

Sending the message. |
|
From the
window panel in the software the user can type in an
unlimited amount of characters and messages and send them to
the driver of the selected vehicle. When the message has
been received by the TXI Textracker in the vehicle it will
then send a message back to the users computer to say it has
been successfully received. |

Receiving the sent message. |
|
When the message arrives at the TXI unit a buzzer
will sound to let the driver know that a message is
waiting. The message will appear on the LCD display
and the driver has to then accept or decline this
message. After the driver accepts or declines the
message the TXI unit will send a notification
back to the user. |

This
notification message will appear on the users computer and lets
them know that the driver has accepted or declined the message.
Should the driver not respond to the message, then after a short
time the TXI unit will notify the user by sending a message,
"Driver Has Not Responded". |

The TXI Textracker
is suitable for all types of cars, vans taxis, buses and
commercial vehicles. The product comes complete with a
dash-board mounting cradle and is simple to install just connect it to a 12v feed
from the vehicles battery and start tracking and sending
messages. |
